Letter of Appreciation: British Pakistani Welfare Association

Date: 07/10/2025

Dear colleagues,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the collaborative approaches in our working partnership to build a learning hub for the community who attend the British Pakistani Welfare Association. With your continued support the Bedfordshire Skills and Employment Academy have been able to use the Adult Skills funding to deliver essential skill courses to your community.

The funds have enabled all the women's group to:

  • Maximise access to community learning, bringing new opportunities and improving lives, whatever people’s circumstances in Bedford Borough. Many of the women in the sessions arrived with limited digital skills experience are now able to access and work digital devices and write documents/complete online forms.
  • Promote economic renewal by bringing local communities together to experience learning and the pride that comes with achievement supporting them with skills for employment and formal qualifications paths.
  • Maximise the impact of community learning on the social and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities—many of the women have shared how they can help support children with their homework after joining the literacy sessions.

We are very grateful for your continued support to promoting the workshops and the continued work you do to provide learning opportunities and support the wellbeing of people in the community, offering them a range of workshops to build their essential skills in everyday life. We look forward to continuing to work together over the years to come.

Yours sincerely,

Appreciation Letter

2nd October 2025

Dear colleagues,

Re: Letter of Appreciation: British Pakistani Welfare Association

As Bedford Borough's Director of Public Health, I would like to express our appreciation for the support provided by the British Pakistani Welfare Association in delivering a number of local public health initiatives over the past year.

Your partnership has been especially valuable in co-producing promotional materials for vaccination and cancer screening. These contributions have strengthened our ability to reach communities effectively and to promote the uptake of important health programmes.

We recognise the commitment and effort your organisation has shown in working with us, and the difference this has made to improving health outcomes locally.

Thank you once again for your continued support. We look forward to working with you on future initiatives.

Yours sincerely
