Our Key Objectives

Building a stronger, prouder community together.
At the British Pakistani Welfare Association (BPWA), every initiative we lead is guided by compassion, unity, and cultural pride. Our key objectives reflect the change we work for by empowering individuals, preserving our shared heritage, and strengthening community wellbeing across the UK.
Guidance & Welfare Support
We provide advice and practical assistance in housing, immigration, employment, and welfare. Our goal is to help families overcome challenges with confidence and dignity.
Community Care & Assistance
We support individuals and families in need through outreach, welfare help, and crisis response. Every service we offer is rooted in compassion, dignity, and inclusion.
Education & Skills Development
We empower people of all ages through English classes, digital literacy, and job-readiness training. BPWA helps open doors to opportunity and personal growth.
Culture & Heritage Promotion
We celebrate our shared roots and rich cultural identity through festivals, heritage events, language promotion, and interfaith activities. BPWA is proud to keep our heritage alive while strengthening our role in British society.
Health & Wellbeing
We encourage healthier lives by running wellness programmes, awareness sessions, and community fitness activities that care for both body and mind.
Mental Health Awareness & Support
We help break stigma around mental health and promote open, caring conversations. BPWA creates safe spaces, provides peer support, and works for better awareness within our communities.
Recreation & Social Connection
We create safe and welcoming community spaces through gatherings, women’s circles, youth activities, and family events that bring people together.
Women’s Empowerment & Inclusion
We believe in creating equal opportunities for women to grow, lead, and thrive. Through dedicated programmes, awareness campaigns, and safe community spaces, BPWA supports women’s wellbeing, leadership, and participation in all areas of life.

“The weekly health walks have become a part of my life. It’s not just exercise, it’s meeting friends, sharing stories, and taking care of our wellbeing together. I feel healthier and happier.”

From an English Class Learner

“BPWA’s classes changed how I see myself. I can now speak confidently at my child’s school and feel more independent. The teachers were so patient and kind.”
